And I thought I was bad for buying it on console both digitally and the physical special edition as well as a copy for the pc (and an atlas tatoo, dont look at me!!!).
I was honstely afraid to admit I spent more than 60 euro on the game after the amount of vitriol the gaming media and community spewed out after release. I was absolutely loving every second of the game and felt ashamed for enjoying it, liek a horrible secret I had to hide form the world...

A fragment? None of it is anything they hyped for the game. Base building, land vehicles, races etc? Thats a fragment of nothing promised because they were never discussed pre-release.
The only things missing that were discussed were some creatures and the scope of space battles. We got the latter in the foundation update, everything else was hyperbolic over reactions because every second of the game didn't play like the trailers or people...
9-in-1 * It lists the famicom/nes and snes/superfamicom and megadrive/genesis as seperate consoles despite them being the same. Still a nice bit of kit, especially the ability to save cartridge data to SD card. Will help keep a collectors cartridges nice and clean and safe in their boxes :)
Yeah this was definitely an activision decision. "What do you mean people won't have to rebuy the items they already bought for the new game?! That's not going to happen guys. How will we build money fires to keep our live-in servants warm throughout the winter?!"
I remember when they first announced it as a trilogy, they made a huge deal about your character going on this ten year journey with Bungie. Sounds like a decision made by Activision Execs, if the die hards cant carry over the items they paid money for they'll probably pay money for items again and also it makes the sequel more accessible to people who didn't buy the first game. It's a business decision, not one that will improve experience for existing players.

Why the downvotes for swiftFox?? He states clearly in the interview that Tabata reached out to him personally to discuss the foundations of what makes a final fantasy game so he could carry on the feeling from those earlier games.
